Head of government directly interferes into works of National Assembly: Sharmazanov
What happens now is direct interference into the works of the National Assembly by the head of the government, vice speaker of the parliament Eduard Sharmazanov told the reporters after voting.
“No one has said that there would not be extraordinary sitting, and we have talked over it. The head of our faction negotiated with the PM yesterday and the latter said about the second round of negotiations, but what happens now is direct intereference into the works of the NA by the head of the government,” he stressed.
Speaking about the reason of such immediate adoption of the bill, Sharmazanov stressed that the parliament is an independent body and the lawmakers voted in accordance with their principles.
“No one said that we are against the demands of the gathered people. It is another thing. We have done it to protect the parliament from pressures during voting processes,” Sharmazanov stated.
As to how they are going to leave the parliament building with all the entrances being closed, Sharmazanov said he has to do it as he is departing for a business trip.
