PAP stands by people's side: party’s leader

People want in December, we want in December too, leader of Prosperous Armenia Party Gagik Tsarukyan said in Urvagits TV program, speaking about the terms of the snap parliamentary elections.

“We do not say we do not want snap elections, we are by the side of the state, by the side of the people. The prime minister said we must go for voting, we are ready. We say let’s bring into life the government’s program and then pass to elections,” he said, stressing that the issue became urgent because the mayoral elections were turned into revolution.

“Now they want elections without changing the Electoral Code as the time passes and their promises are not being brought to reality while people are waiting. I repeat, we are ready, we do not want to impede. We are by the side of the people,” Tsarukyan said.
