Expressing gratitude for the reception, Tsarukyan said that the Prosperous Armenia Party has supported the movement from the very beginning.
“We were by the side of the people. We accepted the revolution. No one would have imagined that Serzh Sargsyan would resign. From that moment we stood by your side. I have told the people – you have chosen Nikol Pashinyan, I am standing by his side,” he said, adding that if the people want conduction of snap parliamentary elections in December the PAP is ready to discuss that variant not to register step back in the movement. “As your partner I am ready to support you in the development and prosperity of the country,” Tsarukyan said.
The PM stressed that there are forces in Armenia who still do not soberly evaluate the situation and are doing everything to escalate the domestic political situation in the country.
“I want to say that in a country where the government is backed by 90% of the people the situation cannot escalate as there are no escalation poles,” he said, voicing the necessity of political partnership.
