New organization founded in Nagorno Karabakh

President of Artsakh Bako Sahakyan participated on October 12 in the first congress of the “Artsakh Parliamentarians’ Association” non-governmental organization.

Addressing the participants, the Karabakh president described the event symbolic, noting that preliminary work had been implemented towards establishing the institutions and organizing its normal activity in the coming years.

Bako Sahakyan said the foundation of such a public organization is quite important and demanded.

“Your activity and principal stance are significant from the viewpoint of ensuring sound dialogue over the country’s most acute topics and issues, discussions and exchange of ideas in an atmosphere of mutual respect, which are the grounds of civilized political culture”, the country’s president said, adding that the state would actively support all the good initiatives of the organization.
