Armenia’s second president not to participate in snap parliamentary elections in December
Armenia’s second president Robert Kocharyan will not participate in snap parliamentary elections in December, he stated about it in an interview to Bloomberg.
“As far as I understand, the elections will take place in December, and it will be Pashinyan’s another personal victory. But it will be the serious defeat of our country,” Kocharyan said.
The second president stressed that it is wrong to conduct elections now and for Pashinyan first of all.
“Such model cannot be succeeded as one political monopoly is being replaced with another,” Kocharyan stressed.
Nikol Pashinyan’s party, according to Kocharyan, has not been formed as a party, and it is not clear how it will take the highest responsibility to govern the country.
“It is obvious that they are not involving professionals in their team,” Kocharyan noted.
