Canadian PM visits Armenian Genocide Memorial complex
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau visited early in the morning today the Armenian Genocide Memorial complex and laid flowers at the eternal flame and planted a fir tree in the tree alley.
The PM was accompanied by Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, Yerevan Deputy Mayor Kamo Areyan and Armenia’s Ambassador to Canada Levon Martirosyan.
Trudeau also visited the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, toured inside and left a note in the guest book. He particulalry wrote, “Today we remember the victims of the Armenian Genocide and swear not to allow this history to repeat.”
