Canadian PM urges to continue Karabakh conflict peaceful settlement process
Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has informed his Canadian counterpart about his meeting with the Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev and about the arrangements reached between them.
“Of course the negotiations over Nagorno Karabakh are taking place in the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group, but we consider it important for our international partners to be informed about our approaches,” Pashinyan said at a joint news conference with his Canadian counterpart Justin Trudeau.
“Our approach is that the conflict be settled in exclusively peaceful way through peace talks,” Pashinyan said.
“We hope that the conflict will be settled peacefully. We urge the sides continue the international process. We hope the conflict will be settled considering the interests of the peoples of the region,” Canadian PMm stressed.
