Domestic political developments slow down process of reforms in Armenia: Armen Ashotyan
The speed and deepness of the process of implementation of Armenia-EU Agreement is far from being desirable, chairman of the NA’s Foreign Relations Affairs Standing Committee Armen Ashotyan said today at the session of the committee.
“The agreement will enter into force from June 1 while no serious, in-depth reforms have been carried out in Armenia. It is clear that the domestic political developments have put their stamp and slowed down the process of reforms,” he said.
He stressed that the biggest issue is insufficient speed of implementation of the agreement.
“Unfortunately, as of the moment Armenia does not have even annual action plan of the reforms for the ending year,” he said.
