Ex PM’s brother released for bail
Henry Abrahamyan, brother of former prime minister Hovik Abrahamyan, has been set free.
He was arrested after a large number of weapons and ammunition was found in the territory belonging to him.
Henrik Abrahamyan was set free for 5 million bail. The petition on changing prevention measure was filed to the court by his attorney.
Abrahamyan is charged for acquisition and keeping illegal weapon.
On August 9 National Security Service director Artur Vanetsyan noted that according to some information the weapons found at Abrahamyan's place might have been used at March 1, 2008 events.
Later though chief of the Special Investigation Service dismissed the information, saying that Abrahamyan's weapon has no relation to March 1 cases.
