Zhamanak: On Mayrapetyan’s arrest day law enforcers conducted search in former deputy PM Armen Gevorgyan’s house
Zhamanak paper writes that the law enforcers are getting new information about different crimes committed by the people close to Robert Kocahryan.
Citing its source, the paper writes that on the day of arrest of businessman Samvel Mayrapetyan search was conducted in the house of former vice prime minister Armen Gevorgyan. The investigators were searching for different documents, contracts, property certificates but did not find anything.
The paper says nevertheless they succeeded to get information about suspicious joint deals of Mayrapetyan and Gevorgyan relating to buildings amounting to several million USD, businesses.
There are suspicions that part of the property registered under Gevorgyan’s and his relatives’ name belong to second president Robert Kocharyan. Part of his property Gevorgyan registered under his father’s name who currently lives in Northern Avenue, in an apartment costing one million USD and in 2008 he made one million USD investment in Mayrapetyan’s Toyota Yerevan company.
