OSCE ready to support Armenia in implementation of anti-corruption program
Deputy Justice Minister Suren Krmoyan met in Vienna during his visit October 18-19 with OSCE Secretary General Thomas Greminger, ministry’s press service reported.
During the meeting the parties discussed a number of issues on fighting against corruption.
Krmoyan emphasized the readiness of the Armenian new authorities to fight against corruption and stressed the support of the people to the anti-corruption program carried out by the Armenian government.
The deputy minister briefed on the needs for implementation of anti-corruption program carried out by the government. In this context it has been noted that an agreement has been reached with the OSCE on implementation of joint programs and applying more effective system for examination of corruption crimes.
OSCE Secretary General positively assessed the processes taking place in Armenia, expressed interest toward the ongoing reforms and noted that the OSCE is ready to support Armenia in the implementation of reforms as well as voiced the support of the establishment in boosting cooperation for recording better results in Armenia’s anti-corruption fight.
