Armenia very important bridge in EAEU-Iran relations: EAEU Minister
Armenia is very important bridge in EAEU-Iran relations, Veronika Nikishina, Minister in charge of Trade of the EAEC, said at a concluding press conference of the Eurasian Week international forum in Yerevan today.
She stressed that Armenia is the only EAEU member state having land border with Iran.
“Armenia is very important bridge for practical implementation of our agreements with Iran,” she said.
She noted that there is a non-formal agreement inside the organization, according to which each country coordinates negotiations in certain direction. As to Armenia, it coordinated negotiations with Iran.
“Armenia was coordinating negotiations with Iran and we successfully accomplished them in time,” the minister said, reminding that currently Armenia has expressed readiness to coordinate negotiations with Egypt.
It was stated by Armenia's PM Nikol Pashinyan at the Eurasian Week forum’s opening speech on october 22.
