Armenia may become important junction between EU-EAEU member countries: Armenia’s President

Armenia’s President Armen Sarkissian had a working meeting today in Geneva with the leaderships of biggest Singapore “Vertex Venture Holdings” venture company, Swiss “Swiss Sustainable Finance”, “Siemens Financial Services” organization of German well-known “Siemens” company.

The meeting was aimed at familiarizing the big companies with Armenia’s investment field, showing the prospects of cooperation in different spheres.

The parties referred to the possibility of applying their experience in Armenia as well as implementing joint programs with the Armenian companies.

Particularly an arrangement has been reached on visiting Armenia and conducting discussions with the Armenian government over possible cooperation.

The president briefed on the more dynamically developing sectors of Armenia’s economy and noted that being member of the EAEU Armenia may become an important junction between EU-EAEU member countries having all the necessary conditions for it.
