To be declared amnesty to clear charges against Sasna Tsrer members
Armenia’s government has submitted amnesty bill to the National Assembly on “Declaring amnesty on the occasion of 2800th establishment of Erebuni-Yerevan and 100th anniversary of declaration of First Republic of Armenia.”
The bill is expected to be discussed during the next regular sessions of the NA, in early November.
The submitted bill includes an article relating to the case on seizure of police unit by members of Sasna Tsrer group and an article relating to the preparation of mass unrest on April 24 over which charges were brought against member of Founding Parliament, member of Sasna Tsrer newly created party’s initiating group Zhirayr Sefilyan.
Thus, according to the amnesty bill Zhirayr Sefilyan and other members of Sasna Tsrer group are being cleared of all charges.
