Prime Ministerial candidate speaks of three revenge attempts by Republicans
Revolution and not change of power has been registered in Armenia, prime ministerial candidate Nikol Pashinyan stated at the NA today.
He said during this period the Republican party tried to revenge several times with the first case being an attempt to consolidate over Robert Kocharyan, the second was the October 2 case [adoption of bill on changes in NA Regulation] and the third boycotting the voting of the new Electoral Code.
“It all was done for conduction of snap elections with the acting Electoral Code, with the rating system as the representatives of the Republican party and the forces associated to it suddenly thought that the rating system may give them chances to reach revenge at the snap parliamentary elections,” Pashinyan stressed, adding that the cause may be directly tied with the municipal elections in Kapan.
He said the criminal elite acting in Syunik continues keeping in hands quite noticeable levers and managed to ensure consolidation in the municipal elections.
“The Republicans hope that they will manage to apply Kapan model at the upcoming elections,” he said.
