Armenia’s ex PM Karen Karapetyan to become Independent Director of Russian "Zarubezhneft"
Armenia’s former prime minister Karen Karapetyan will be included in the Board of Directors of Russian state "Zarubezhneft" company in near future, Russian Kommersant writes.
Citing its source, the paper says that Karapetyan will get the post of Independent Director which is currently occupied by financer Hrayr Simonyan who is consultant to head of "Inter RAO" Boris Kovalchuk.
The company though has not confirmed the information yet.
Karen Karapetyan was appointed Armenia’s Prime Minister in September 2016 during presidency of Serzh Sargsyan. He resigned in spring after mass protest actions against the authorities which resulted in change of power in the country.
