Engagement of each country in military actions in Syria to be a mistake: Bolton
Assistant to the U.S. President for National Security Affairs (NSA) John Bolton met today with Armenia’s President Armen Sarkissian.
Speaking at a news conference in Yerevan Bolton said during the meeting they have referred to the issue on providing humanitarian aid to Syria by Armenia.
“The USA is providing humanitarian aid too but it should not have an impact on political relations regarding the regime on one hand and the terrorists on the other. A large-scale humanitarian assistance is provided there,” Bolton stressed.
He said at the meeting Armenia’s president stated that Armenia’s aid will be humanitarian assistance.
“The president noted that it will not have military orientation. Engagement of each country in military actions in Syria will be a mistake. As of the moment there are already 7-8 militant parties and the engagement of any other country as another party will be a mistake I think,” Bolton stressed.
