Hraparak: Sessions of NA’s ad hoc Investigative Committee suspended
Hraparak paper writes that the sessions of the ad hoc committee set to study the issue of wiretapping conversations after the noisy case with the involvement of NSS director and SIS chief, are not taking place, while initially they were set to be conducted every Wednesday.
Asked about it, the chairman of the committee Gevorg Kostanyan said that the reason is only the current hard schedule of the lawmakers. “As you see we are in the phase of busy political developments, and I do not want to cut my colleagues from their activity. We will see what will happen next Monday regarding the adoption or not adoption of the Electoral Code after which the we will pass to our common session,” the paper cited him as saying.
As to whether Kostanyan does not want to work as chairman of the committee and that is why suspended the sittings, Kostanyan said he was never constrained in his activities and always carried out his professional activity both now and eight months ago.
