Iran, Turkey, Azerbaijan sign declaration supporting Karabakh conflict settlement based on Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity principle
Foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Iran and Turkey met October 30 in Istanbul and stressed the importance of settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict within the framework of territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
According to Interfax-Azerbaijan, FMs Elmar Mammadyarov, Mevlut Cavusoglu and Mohammad Javad Zarif adopted a declaration with the results of the conducted meeting.
“The ministers registered their commitments on not interfering into domestic affairs of the states and on peaceful settlement of all conflicts on the basis of international right, and particularly sovereignty, territorial integrity, inviolability of internationally recognized state borders. In this context they once again stressed the importance of settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict on the basis of the above mentioned principles,” the declaration states.
