Unorganized situation inside government Armenia’s economy’s main issue: economist
The economic activity figures in Armenia are not so good, but there is no need to focus on them, economist Babken Tunyan said, adding that it is necessary more to focus on what people expect and what they see today.
“When we say that now we are fighting shadow, this fight should have been reflected on economic figures. If we see 0.2% economic activity growth we register that it should have been bigger in case of fight against shadow. If the figure is this, it means the economic activity growth is lower,” Tunyan stressed, adding though that there is no need of either making tragedy of these figures or getting inspired.
“This figures are yet the result of activity of the previous government. We should not blame the new one for them,” he said, stressing that today’s problem is unorganized situation inside the government.
