2019 state budget intends 11 programs and 41 events for Armenian government
In 2018 Armenian PM’s staff is carrying out 30 programs approved by the 2018 state budget. The overall cost is 19 billion 686 million AMD, head of PM’s staff Eduard Aghajanyan said at the 2019 draft budget discussion today.
“In the nine months of 2018 the expenses made 11 billion 321 million AMD,” he said, noting that certain savings have also been made.
“It is agreed with the existence of grants, which are mainly being spent by the end of the year,” he said.
Aghajanyan said that the 2019 state budget envisages 11 programs and 41 events.
“For their implementation 20 billion 697 million drams is necessary,” the head of the PM’s staff said.
He stressed that the programs envisaged by 2019 state budget have changed as compared with the 2018.
“Sixteen programs costing about 8 billion 466 million drams have been removed. Five programs including 25 events and costing 9 billion 720 million drams have been added,” he said.
