Armenia’s president’s staff submits budget application requesting 741 less than previously
Armenia’s presidential staff submitted 1 billion 183 million 834 thousand AMD budget application for 2019, which makes 61,5% of this year’s factual budget, head of president’s staff Emil Tarasyan said at the NA during the discussion of 2019 draft budget.
“We have submitted application 741 million AMD less having planned lesser salaries and additional payments. We also cut 36 million regarding energy services, 10 million regarding transportation materials. We have envisaged 5 million AMD for professional services, and particularly for the training of the staff,” he said.
Tarasyan stressed that the sum presented in the budget application will be addressed to the implementation of regulatory issues.
Chairman of the State Legal and Human Rights Protection Committee Gevorg Kostanyan said that the cut of the budget is natural as the president’s authorities are not the same as previously.
