Cooperation opportunities with Civil Contract, Republic parties not excluded: Edmon Marukyan

Bright Armenia party will participate in the upcoming snap parliamentary elections with own list with the engagement of representatives of other political forces and groups, party’s leader Edmon Marukyan told the reporters today.

“Representatives of different political groups and parties will be included in the list. They will be nominated by the majority election system,” Marukyan said.

He stressed that after long discussions they and the Republic party have decided to participate in the elections separately.

“Using this opportunity I want to thank our partners – Republic party on behalf of Aram Sargsyan, Civil Contract Party on behalf of Nikol Pashinyan – for the path we have passed together. Together we have formed Yelk bloc which played an exclusive role not only in our lives but the lives of citizens of Armenia,” Marukyan said.

He said irrespective of format of participation in the elections cooperation with the Civil Party and Republic party is not excluded.

“Our cooperation opportunities are not exhausted,” the party’s leader stressed.
