Armenian NA speaker, Swiss Ambassador discuss cooperation issues
Armenia’s National Assembly speaker Ara Babloyan received today Swiss Ambassador to Armenia Stefano Lazzarotto.
The NA speaker congratulated the ambassador on assuming the post and stressed the close cooperation between the two countries on inter-parliamentary level.
Babloyan stressed that the circle of the Armenian-Swiss cooperation is quite wide, involving trade-economic ties, support and educational programs.
The chairman of the parliament also referred to the regional issues as well as domestic developments taking place in the country.
Stefano Lazzarotto highly assessed the current level of cooperation between the two countries and stressed that he will give them new impetus with his activity.
Ara Babloyan voiced hope that hence the Armenian-Swiss relations will continue developing.
The interlocutors also referred to the necessity of activation of economic ties, emphasized cooperation in the spheres of agriculture, education and science.
