Nikol Pashinyan to depart to Astana to attend CSTO council session
Armenia’s acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will pay a working visit to Kazakhstan on November 8-9.
In capital Astana the acting PM will participate in the session of the CSTO council.
During the visit Pashinyan is expected to meet with the local Armenian community representatives.
Earlier Russian Kommersant reported that at the session issue on replacing Armenian secretary general of CSTO with the representative of Belarus Stanislav Zasin will be discussed. The paper wrote that the decision is to be made by the heads of the CSTO member states on November 8 in Astana.
Armenian secretary general of the CSTO Yuri Khachaturov has been recalled and dismissed from office due to the criminal case filed against him.
During meeting with editors-in-chief Nikol Pashinyan voiced the name of Vagharshak Harutyunyan as Armenia’s official candidate for the post.
