Lustration or erection of enemy character from former authorities not a right thing to do: former DM

Armenia’s former defense minister Vigen Sargsyan, who is going to participate in snap parliamentary elections, made a regular post in his Facebook page.

“Republican party had surely made mistakes. Only those who are not doing anything make no mistakes. These mistakes caused the transition of power ahead of time to the candidate pointed by protesting people. But should the response to this peaceful transition of power be lustration or erection of enemy character of the former authorities, selective justice and distribution of property?” he wrote, expressing conviction that it is not a right thing to do, "otherwise the future governments will stick to power at any cost remembering and reminding our example and considering that transition of power is suicide, life-and-death struggle and not a natural process."
