Hraparak: New parliament to have more MPs
Hraparak paper writes that the political circles are convinced that the future parliament will comprise not of 105 lawmakers as previously but much more.
The paper reminds that the Constitution does not fix exact number of MPs, it’s a “floating” number. For instance if the Civic Contract gets 90% of votes the percentage of the other forces must be raised to a level to make opposition representation in the parliament 30%.
The paper says according to the Electoral Code, “If a party receives more than 2/3 of the total number of mandates, the other ones get minimal additional mandates for their number be not less than 1/3.”
