Free Democrats party leader to reveal pocket opposition

“We” bloc will be the main opposition of the authorities and will give new quality to the opposition institute, leader of Free Democrats party Khachatur Kokobelyan said after signing memorandum on creation of “We” bloc with the Republic party.

The bloc has been created ahead of December 9 parliamentary election to come up together.

At the same time Kokobelyan said they will support the government in the initiated reforms. The political figure said that during the past 20 years they were opposition and noticed the existence of pocket opposition as well.

“Pocket opposition are the political forces who tell one thing to people and appearing in the parliament di quite another. For instance, during significant voting they displayed themselves just in a way the Republican faction wanted. As far as we are on the threshold of campaign I leave the judgments for citizens to make,” Kokobelyan said.

He urged to remember the past and see how the political forces who declared themselves opposition acted in resolute situations.

“We will speak more openly at a proper occasion, we will tell everything to them,” Kokobelyan said.

He said that an opportunity has been created for curing the political field, and now people have a chance to elect authorities and sound opposition.
