Republican party’s candidates convinced, mildly threatened to refrain from participation in elections: Armen Ashotyan

The Republican party list will not include those who according to media claims will be nominated by the rating system, party’s vice chairman Armen Ashotyan told the reporters today.

“After our rating list is published you will see there different young people, people who have rich experience, people who enjoy the trust of the people of their electoral constituency, people who you even do not think will be in the list,” Ashotyan said.

He stressed that the state apparatus continues targeting possible Republican candidates convincing differently, threatening mildly like “do not look for problems.”

“Many such cases have been registered, and we even have proves. There are people who even refused to participate because of it,” Ashotyan said, adding though that the Republican party will continue political fight.
