Political analyst Ara Papyan included in Sasna Tsrer party list

Political analyst Ara Papyan, who previously was Armenia’s ambassador to Canada will participate in snap parliamentary elections in Armenia with Sasna Tsrer party.

“Sasna Tsrer invited me and our well-known ambassador Ara Papyan to cooperate with them. There are other figures as well. You will learn about them later. It is an all-Armenian party and in our program we have fixed the necessity to withdraw all the senseless restrictions and allow all Armenians be engaged in the governance system of the country,” political analyst Stepan Grigoryan said at a press conference today.

Co-founder of the party Zhirayr Sefilyan said that they are coming to parliament to counterbalance the ruling force.

“If a restricting force is not formed a day before in our parliament, the mistakes of the ruling force will be much more, thus its formation will be of great help to the authorities,” Sefilyan said, adding that they are also coming to bring to responsibility the masterminds of crimes committed against people during all these years.

“These people must be immediately isolated from our society. I am speaking about Kocharyan, Sargsyan and their bands,” Sefilyan said.
