Tax-free microbusiness to be established in Armenia: acting PM
The Armenian government has decided to set new concept – microbusiness – free of all taxes, Armenia’s acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in his speech at the NA today.
He said people working with 20-24 million AMD circulation will not pay taxes. He also noted that other regime of income tax for employees will function for them in case of having up to three workers. Pashinyan said they will be taxed not with 23% of their salary like the others but will pay established payment amounting to 5,000 AMD for each employee.
“Of course there will also be some restrictions agreed with sectors of activity,” he said.
He stressed that if previously people dealing with small-size entrepreneurship were promised favorable conditions before elections, now everything changed and the field has opened for them.
“Now we say, we do not help you before the elections or we do not give you bribes to develop your business, instead we are giving you opportunity to earn money for your family with your dignified activity,” the PM stated.
