EU ambassador hopes upcoming elections to be best in Armenia’s history
Support to electoral process in Armenia program is aimed at being convinced that the votes of citizens will not be stolen, EU Ambassador to Armenia Piotr Świtalski said at the launch of the program today.
“Do not sell your votes, do not take bribes. Each time you are offered a bribe inform the corresponding bodies,” he said.
“Let this elections become the best ones in Armenia’s history and serve an example for other countries,” he stressed.
German ambassador to Armenia said they are convinced that the upcoming elections will really be the best ones in Armenia.
Ambassador of UK stressed that the goal of the launched program is to ensure the voters that their votes will be considered.
“It is necessary to be sure that the field is equal for everyone. No words of hatred should be voiced,” she said, adding that these elections open new phase for Armenia’s development.
“We back Armenian government in the implementation of ambitious programs,” she stressed.
