Republican party heads to elections with strong team: Karine Atchemyan

We are heading to parliament with strong staff, Republican party member Karine Atchemyan said, after submitting party’s election list to the Central Electoral Commission.

She stressed that there are new figures together with the experienced ones in their list.

“I think experience is very important as in the current political situation the authorities need a force that will voice their mistakes and not allow them make fatal ones,” she said.

As to which is Republican party’s privilege, Atchemyan said that the years-long experience and achievements that are being continued by the current authorities.

“The programs launched by us are being continued by the current authorities. If they were bad ones, they would not have been continued. For us the foreign policy is a crucial issue. We have serious concerns regarding Karabakh issue,” she said.

Atchemyan also stressed that growth of prices have been registered and economic indexes have gone down.

“Not everything is good. People need to analyze before voting. If a person’s life has not improved in six months, but on the contrary has worsened, it means people have what to think about,” she said.

Atchemyan also said their list is headed by Vigen Sargsyan, followed by Arpine Hovhannisian, Davit Shahnazaryan, Vahram Baghdasaryan and Armen Ashotyan.
