Yelk faction MP describes Samvel Farmanyan’s initiative as a “revenge program”
Yelk faction MP Alen Simonyan described the amendments proposed by Republican faction MPs Samvel Farmanyan and Mihran Hakobyan as a revenge program. Simonyan criticized Farmanyan for coming up with such initiative so late.
“Where were Mr Farmanyan before the revolution? Couldn't he convince his friends to discuss and adopt the bill? No, he could not because as he has openly said it is a part of the budget. Where were you Mr Farmanyan, where was the ruining society? Or that time you were not interested in it and now you are initiating it for revenge, to create issues for the authorities and the budget?” Simonyan said.
The MP said such ban cannot be put as there are 4,000 IT sector representatives who are writing different programs and export them.
Simonyan also said this initiative is impossible as in the “century of web” it is impossible to close so much websites.
