Armenian, Russian governments continue negotiations over gas tariff
Negotiations are currently being held between the governments of Armenia and Russia over gas tariff, general director of Gazprom Armenia company Hrant Tadevosyan said at a news conference today asked about possibility of reducing tariff in 2019.
He stressed that from July 2016 till now they have twice reduced the tariff. Tadevosyan said the decisions on tariff are being made on inter-state level, and the company is not participating in them.
“We are not participating in the processes. A price is being set by the agreement signed between the governments of the two countries, which serves a basis for Gazprom and Gazprom Armenia companies to sign corresponding agreement. As of now, there is no final decision over gas tariff imported to Armenia,” he stressed.
