NA Staff Head-Secretary General Ara Saghatelyan participates in GIZ international conference
NA Staff Head-Secretary General Ara Saghatelyan participated in GIZ international conference in Kiev November 13-15 dedicated to the empowerment of control function of the parliaments in Eastern Partnership countries, NA press service reports.
During the conference the participants discussed current challenges for carrying out reforms in parliamentary administrations of the Eastern Partnership countries, significance of scientific-research analytical centers in future reforms in parliaments as well as issues on firm cooperation between the highest appealing institutions and parliaments.
Addressing the present, Saghatelyan attached significance to the necessity of practical introduction of new ideas voiced during discussions for increasing the analytical potential of parliaments, boosting cooperation and raising the general efficiency of carried out works.
After delivering a detailed speech over the discussed issues, Saghatelyan expressed gratitude to the organizers and partners of the event for useful and effective discussion.
