Republican party to help authorities combat foreign pressures: Artak Zakaryan

Being in the parliament the Republican party will help the authorities to refrain from pressures, Republican party member Artak Zakaryan said at a news conference today.

He stressed that the pressures may be exerted on the Armenian authorities over different issues and their presence in the parliament will help the authorities to combat them and ensure a general consolidation.

Zakaryan said the Republican party has a lot to say and to do regarding the security of Armenia and Artsakh.

“In this regard it is important to be in the parliament and help the next ruling force to give effective and right solutions balancing the structure of the regional forces,” Zakaryan said.

The ex deputy defense minister also stressed that more probably the Republican party failed to meet the demands and needs of the people.

“We realize that there is a certain dissatisfaction over the social policy conducted during the past years,” he said, adding that this dissatisfaction exists over the justice system too.
