Acting PM warns against distributing election bribes
No one will humiliate Armenian citizens by offering 5,000, 10,000 or 20,000 AMD or even 1,000 USD for votes, Armenian acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in Aparan today.
“We will cut the hand of those distributing election bribes, figuratively. Let no one try to humiliate Armenian citizen by offering 5,000, 10,000 or 20,000 AMD or even 1,000 USD for vote, as vote of the Armenian citizen has no value, it is an absolute value,” Pashinyan stated, urging the people not to allow anyone tell who they should vote for.
“You will decide it on your own. Hence in Armenia cases when you vote for someone but the other is being elected will be excluded,” Pashinyan said.
