People to elect opposition on December 9, issue of ruling force already solved by revolution: Edmon Marukyan

December 9 will close the phase of revolution that took place in Armenia and the time for creating and strengthening the system will start, chairman of Bright Armenia party Edmon Marukyan said at a news conference today.

He said his political force heads to be the second political unit in the parliament as the issue of the first, ruling force, has been already determined by the revolution.

“On December 9 the citizens of Armenia will decide who will be the other political forces. On December 9 the people will elect opposition as the issue of authorities has already been decided. Naturally, the force that carried out the revolution will form the political majority,” Marukyan said.
He said they have professionals in their team who are able to have their contribution to the strengthening of the state system.

The political figure stated that the election campaign will last quite short that is why they will be divided into two groups for carrying out the campaign.

“We will try to cover the whole territory of the republic. The group headed by me will visit all the 47 communities of the republic, the other group headed by Mrs Tandilyan will visit Yerevan administrative regions,” he said.

The party’s slogan in the elections is Make Armenia Bright and the campaign will launch from the town of Agarak.
