Four new parties participate in upcoming December 9 early parliamentary elections
Together with the known political forces the new ones are also participating in the December 9 early elections.
Ahead of elections new Citizen’s Decision Social-Democratic party has been created and registered in the Central Electoral Commission submitting list of 81 candidates and nominating up to 10 candidates in each electoral constituency.
The rating candidates are not known to people. Among them are economists, political analysts, architects.
The list is headed by economist Suren Sahakyan, who is followed by advocate Artak Kirakosyan and pedagogue Ruzanna Torozyan.
The other party Christian-Democratic Revival party has submitted list of 85 candidates of which only political analyst Levon Shirinyan is known to the public. Former NA MP, businessman Hayk Sanosyan who previously participated in the elections with Republican party is also nominated by the party.
The rating list of this party includes cookers, store heads, individual entrepreneurs.
The next party is National Progress which is the only one which submitted a list headed by a woman. The list comprises of 84 candidates and is headed by sociologist Lusine Haroyan.
The rating list candidates of the party are not known to public. Among them are pedagogues, advocates, unemployed.
Sasna Tsrer party has also managed to register in the CEC before the elections. The list is headed by Varuzhan Avetisyan, followed by political analyst Stepan Grigoryan and Garegin Chukaszyan. Co-founder of the party Zhirayr Sefilyan failed to be nominated having just got citizenship of Armenia.
The party’s rating list reaches 15, among them pedagogues, lecturers. Deceased hero Arayik Khandoyan’s brother Ararat Khandoyan will be nominated in No 7 constituency. Areg Kyureghyan engaged in police unit seizure criminal case has been nominated in No 4 constituency.
