Armenia’s PM conducts march, states about implementation of all promises given to people
Armenia’s acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan conducts today a march from 10 a.m. planning to walk in Yerevan streets for quite a long. Starting the march, Pashinyan said that it is a kind of peculiar summarization of the one he started on March 31 2018 from Gyumri Vardanants square which resulted in non-violent, velvet revolution.
The prime minister is walking with his team, government members. He stated that My Step has carried out all the commitments it assumed before people.
“We have promised you to make changes in Armenia if you express your will. We guaranteed that your wish will become political reality. This commitment is fully implemented,” Pashinyan said.
The other promise he said is the eradication of ill habit of rigging elections and distributing election brine which too has been fully kept. “We have proved it by conduction of municipal and mayoral elections,” Pashinyan stated.
The acting PM also mentioned the elimination of monopolies. “Today no impediments exist in the Armenian market which means that we have kept our promise,” Pashinyan said.
He stressed about the ongoing fight against corruption, which he said is still in process.
“If getting the mandate we will continue fighting against this ill phenomena,” he stressed, adding that there are no privileged in Armenia any more.
The other promise Pashinyan said is the conduction of early parliamentary elections which are going to take place on December 9.
The PM earlier promised to amend the Electoral Code but the bill failed in the NA not getting enough votes.
