Time for economic revolution comes: Nikol Pashinyan
Time for economic revolution has come in Armenia, Armenia’s acting PM, leader of My Step bloc Nikol Pashinyan said in Talin today.
“We should raise Armenia on a new political and economic level,” he said, stressing that few changes are expected in 2019.
“We say we will free microbusiness from all taxes, it means that all the institutions working in Talin, including small shops the annual turnover of which does not exceed 24 million drams will be freed from taxes,” Pashinyan said.
He said it is the result of their policy aimed at encouraging work.
“Till now the policy conducted in Armenia was aimed at making citizen miserable, crooked-necked. We say no, we will create all the opportunities for citizens to be able to work and keep their families,” the leader of the bloc stated.
He also said that individual taxi drivers will be freed from all kind of taxes.
“Today each taxi driver working in the province pays 8,000 AMD monthly for driving a taxi. We will free them from this tax,” Pashinyan stressed, adding that the maximum fine amounts will also be changed.
“The maximum will be 29,000 AMD. No fines amounting more than the mentioned sum will be taken,” the acting PM said.
