Republican party accuses acting PM in hate speech
Armenia’s acting PM’s statements made yesterday and today during election campaign were brightest examples of hate speech, Republican party said in a statement.
“A number of expressions made by the acting PM yesterday and today were brightest examples of hate speech and pass all the admissible limits of political fight and violate human and moral principles,” the statement says, adding that such behavior is unprecedented in Armenia’s political culture.
“We had an occasion to refer to the abuse of administrative resources by the acting PM. The other obvious example is being on holiday he voices threats addressed to elected officials and gives instructions to police,” the statement says, drawing the attention of the CEC, Human Rights Defender’s Office and international observers on the circumstances.
