CSTO members states interested in ensuring general security: Russian ambassador
The issues in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) must be settled on the basis of joint consensus, Russian ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopirkin told the reporters today.
He said all the member states are interested for the structure to work and contribute to the security of the countries. This is what they expect from the CSTO.
“The issue of the secretary general of the organization is in the discussion phase, and I am convinced that it will be settled in a way for the establishment to get out of the existed situation more strengthened and with amended and simplified Charter,” Kopirkin said.
