Forces claiming new parliament to work for a year make statements against Armenia’s Constitution: Edmon Marukyan

We do not take a professional team to parliament to work for a year and a half, chairman of the Bright Armenia party Edmon Marukyan said at the election campaign in Artashat.

“Do you think people have no other work but to elect parliament every year? The revolution in Armenia took place with the preservation of all the norms of the Constitution. Those who claim that this parliament has no life, makes statement against the Constitution,” Marukyan said.

According to him, such statements are made to convince people that elections are not a necessity.

“Such statements are being voiced by the forces that have remained out of the lists of all the political forces. They have knocked different doors during this time, but no one opened. The others making such statements are those who have entered the election fight but know that they will be left in margins,” Marukyan stated.

He stressed that on December 9 they should form balanced parliament to create no need for other revolution and dissolving parliament.
