No need of such tough response by Pashinyan to Karabakh’s officials: expert
The reciprocal statements addressed to one another may have negative consequences and turn into systematic confrontation, expert Vigen Hakobyan said at a news conference today referring to Armenian’s acting PM Nikol Pashinyan’s message to Artsakh authorities not to interfere into elections in Armenia and do their work.
“This may have rather unpleasant consequences if deepens and turns into systematic confrontation as there are certain mutual agreements on not interfering into political processes,” Hakobyan said.
The issue created after acting PM Nikol Pashinyan stated that he is the only Armenian leader whose son is serving in Artsakh. Pashinyan also said that even sons of leaders of Karabakh did not serve in Karabakh and in army in general.
In response, Davit Babayan, spokesperson for the Artsakh president Bako Sahakyan, said that Bako Sahakyan, Arkady Ghukasyan’s sons as well as two sons of Defense Army commander served in the army.
The political technologist said he does not think the response from Karabakh was tough.
“They just opposed concrete thing,” the expert said, adding that the Armenian side should not have responded in such tough way.
