Decision to be made by heads of CSTO member states on December 6 difficult to predict: Zatulin
It is difficult to predict what will happen on December 6, regarding the appointment of CSTO secretary general, Konstantin Zatulin, first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS and European integration affairs, said in Yerevan today.
“As you know the meeting of the heads of the CSTO member states is scheduled on December 6. It is difficult to predict what will happen on December 6. It will not be ethical for me to pour oil on the fire in such situation and say who would better be appointed in the post who would not,” Zatulin said.
He stressed that the situation is not a standard one and the CSTO Charter does not have exact norms for regulating such situations. He said they will be worked out and the issue will be discussed in accordance with them.
