Great work conducted in Armenia for successful conduction of early elections: CIS observation mission head
The CIS observation mission has started its work from November 22 ahead of December 9 early parliamentary elections in Armenia, head of the CIS observation mission Viktor Guminisky told the reporters today.
He said 16 long-term and 84 short-term observers are included in the mission.
Guminisky stressed that though the elections are being conducted in short period of time, the Central Electoral Commission managed to implement its commitments properly.
“On December 9 people may go to polling stations and freely express their wish, voting for the candidate and political force they want. The utmost has been done for the voters to carry out their duties,” he said.
Guminisky also stressed that equal opportunities have been created for all the political forces to appear in mass media and no complaints have been received in that regard.
“We see that a great work has been carried out in Armenia for the successful conduction of elections,” he said.
