Armen Ashotyan believes NSS head more state-oriented, to be better PM than Pashinyan
The second part of the wiretapped conversation showed that the NSS chief is more state-oriented than Nikol Pashinyan is, Republican party vice chairman Armen Ashotyan told the reporters today.
“The second part of the wiretapped conversation rejected the thesis speculated by the authorities that there is no political corruption in Armenia and the courts are independent,” Ashotyan said.
He stressed that the wiretapped conversation shows that the heads of Armenian force institutions pass the decisions of the prime minister to judges.
“These are political decisions stemming from the personal interests and viewpoints of the Armenian prime minister which turn into judicial acts,” the Republican party candidate said.
Ashotyan also stressed that he has made another conclusion from the wiretapped conversation. “I have understood that the NSS head has more state-oriented mentality and would be better Prime Minister than Nikol Pashinyan is,” Ashotyan stressed.
