Big sum necessary for big work: cabinet discusses issues of disaster zone
The biggest problem is absence of assessment of the concept of the disaster zone and its volume, acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at the outgoing cabinet sitting today.
“It is necessary to set up a task group which will prepare a complete information package,” he said.
Chairman of the State Urban Committee Avetik Eloyan opposed the acting PM, saying that they are aware of the situation.
The acting PM asked how much money is necessary then, to which Eloyan responded “A lot.”
“Mr Javadyan, may we provide a lot of money or may Finance Ministry provide a lot of money?” the acting PM asked the Central Bank chairman.
Pashinyan said that big work is to be done with a big sum.
“We are forming a task group with a clear goal to prepare a package with clear figures, sums, possible road map to be able to understand what to do, how much sum and how much time are necessary,” Pashinyan concluded.
